Hervey Bay

After a couple of nights at the very commercial Noosa I headed up to Hervey Bay and parked up the maui on the lawn at Mike & Kates house. Very nice to see more familiar faces and very nice to have a couple of fantastic home cooked meals. Mike and I played a bit of pool and 9 holes of golf. My first hole I hit the first three balls into swamps. There was no way I was putting my hand in to retrieve them in case of crocs or snakes, so I was 9 of the tee. hehe Needless to say Mike won the golf!

Mike and I went to the local to watch the State of Origin match. Great atmosphere with all the parochial locals dressed in their blues and maroons. Awesome game, great night.
